National Rugby League. Footy is a shortened term for rugby. Three different games, different rules. Union is pretty tedious, League is 80 minutes of almost non stop action and Aussie Rules is just a very insane game where scores can run past 100. Have an NRL league on the east coast in a few cities and we have a national team as well. Fun, fun game to watch. Close to American football, but so much better, in my opinion. Very limited stopping of the game. Thirteen players on field and four on the bench. A team can substitute players only 12 times during an 80 minute game. No forward passing. Tries(=touchdown)is worth 4 points, after kick worth 2 and the scoring team gets the ball back. Team has 6 tackles to try and score and you can kick the ball just about anytime you want to in order to advance it forward...and sometimes it works. It is a very interesting game indeed. No pads, no helmets, they play in shorts and jumpers. It's just fun.

Congratulations on the news. Grandmothering is an occupation I highly recommend. It is really fun. You won't be disappointed.

And on the political front: I see that Florida slightly overcorrected their voting proceedures. Oops, again.
