This is a wrong thing to do; wrong minded and wrong for everything we stand for.
The thing should be challenged -- right now -- and Congress should refuse funding for any such command.
If the issue is combat air patrols, the ANG has plenty of fighters and if it is about armed invasion, there's just no way that is going to happen.
Better stop these people now. We aren't required to second guess their motives and if they were really on our side, the question wouldn't exist.
