I'm still around. Haven't lost my stuff. Just have a lot to do right now. I have to make the flower girl's dress. My girls always got gingham with pinafores on Easter, and my daughter thinks I can do this, even though I haven't done any sewing in about 15 years.

Yes, I probably can do it. And I do want to. So . . . I'll look for y'all once in a while, but I'm going to be a little nuts for at least another 6 weeks.

But then, my oldest daughter is going to marry a man, who I think was sent to her from above. I've never seen two people so aware of each other (who weren't married for at least 20 years).

We have been watching them. Our friends watched them. When we saw them together, we snuck comments to each other that HE was definitely the one.

The invitation says "Once upon a time, there was a prince and a princess who fell in love." Then it goes through the whole "Mr. and Mrs. . . . . .request the honor of your presence . . . . " then at the very bottom, it says "And they lived happily ever after."

Cinderella in her gown, with the pumpkins, embossed on the invitation.

Not exactly like me, but heck. I am really looking forward to it. She's 29. She knows. I know too. I've seen them together. They can handle it, even though it ain't always easy.
