You know, throwing up tidbits of information like this only deflects from the truth... saying things like 'Isreal has a right to exist' deflects from the real purpose of Isreal... now lets look from the other side... what happens when those in the West say 'Palestine has a right to exist, and a right to a homeland'... Sharon says 'fine, then let those in the West give the Palestinians a homeland in America or Britain'
Well suppose we were to take Sharons advice...and turn it around on himself... and if that was the Wests intention... to have a Jewish state... then why not have it in America or Britain??..
I'le tell you why not... because that is not just the intention, to have a Jewish state... it's LOCATION... and for no other reason is the West defending Isreal... and all the other Arab states know this as well... whilst Isreal exists in its current location, the West has a foothold in the middle East... And THAT is what they all object to...
I don't blame them... i too would object... and to start giving out info like the Lebanese are attacking them even after 20 years... well what do you expect..
I'me sorry but i'me just not buying this poor little Isreal image you are selling...
It was only 30 years ago that the Vietnamese were throwing their babies onto American helicopters with bombs strapped to them...why... because they had to... think about it...
The Germans today tore up their arms contract with Isreal ( i think they are finally getting over their guilt )...
It's not just the Arab nations that are turned against Isreal... there is a worldwide opinion which has swayed against them.
