To tell you the truth Donk, I am not sure if Ga has referendums or initiatives. There have been petitions circulating to force a vote on the Ga state flag issue. The governor sends a form letter to all petitioners stating that a vote on the issure is illegal.

The fed mandates that all states go to the .08 standard or lose federal highway funding.

I will try your suggestions first. I don't have much clout with anyone and if they ignore me, they have only lost one vote.

I have filed an appeal on my conviction and can ask for a jury trail but the trails have only six jurors and a unanamous decision is not required for a conviction. Public sentiment is not in my favor.

So, I guess for all our talk of changing things, when it comes right down to it, there is really not much we really can do to change things.

Humm, I was almost sucked into being a believer.

There is a lot of talk about our constitution being a framework. If it is framed like a building, it can be altered. Old or usless parts can be torn down and new additions added. I don't believe it is like a building. I believe it is more like a stew. With the correct mix of ingedients, it is great, but if the wrong spices are added, you just have to throw it out and start over.
