While Ohio has three issues in the courts, none of which should be there, they are executing people; to make a point, I guess.

I hate it. I hate the vapid rationalizations given for why we need to kill to address killing. It doesn't do anything except diminish us all -- a little more each time.

If there is any single thing that defines us as a barbaric culture it is our need to kill others, either because they got in the way or because they offended us. Until we get past that bloodlust, I don't see how we can evolve better attitudes about anything.

As rich as we are, and we can't suffer some fool remaining imprisoned for the duration of his life; left to think; left to feel; left to remain in the wreckage of his life, until God moves to release him.

I'm tired of the bloody having their way on either side of the law.
