Wow Al!

Your vivid use of language and imagery never ceases to amaze me. There are so many wonderful images in this poem that to name but one would do the rest an injustice.

I was intrigued by the title, but on reading the poem and especially the last 2 lines, it is perfect.

You certainly know how to evoke the senses, and thus involve your reader placing him/her right in there.

Wonderful my my friend.

>The drippings of your love
>pacify me, as knowing
>I have jars of honey
>lined on my sill,
>saturated with a dew sun;
>ending in forever; going further
>than thoughts of my imagination
>
>I see you there, hair hypnotizing
>the wind, in colors that change
>from pastels to ribbons, meant to
>be caught, fondled, in breezes
>which tease me, knowing my weaknesses
>reach into valleys never afore ascribed
>in dictionary, almanac, or verse;
>standing, arms reaching highest
>clouds of heaven, eyes as pools,
>gleaming from the universe,
>with every star, charted and mapped,
>its every distance within easy reach
>of my frame, as you tell me all is true,
>taking my fingertips to walk through stars
>galaxies so immense, yet held in your palm,
>seeing it all from a distance nestled
>in gold hue brilliant and burning, with heat
>of innate desire churning from beneath
>threatening only to bloom, as right
>before my eyes I see flowers erupt
>bringing forth a new, and fullest bloom
>with dazzling colors of spectrum blinding me
