Samantha Miss Sam,
The thing about St. James being jesus's brother is wrong. It is a protestant belief. The Catholic church believes that Mary had no further children after Jesus. Protestants believe that James, John, and two more men are Jesus's brother but they believe this because they take the bible literal...they treat words how we treat them now...not like they were used back then. At the time the bible was written the Hebrew language had no word for cousin and therefore used brother to mean family/friends. If we took the bible literal then Jesus had like 400 brothers and sisters(not exaggerating on that number either). Also, Why in the WORLD would Mary DARE to desecrate her womb with a baby of original sin? HOW INSANE WOULD THAT BE!? That would be like "Hey God, I dont care that I had your son and that you are holy and all that stuff...ill just get some regular baby with original sin now woohoo." And the only time in which Mary ever had another son was when Jesus was on the cross and he handed his mother over to John and John to his mother. I mean if Mary had other son's then why would Jesus need to say (note: indirect quoting) "Women, behold your son." "John, behold your mom". Now if Mary had other sons Jesus would have just said "Yo bro, take care of mom ok?"

So other than James being a saint...thats it heh...he may be a cousin but not a direct "brother" of Jesus.
Thanks...
