basically anywhere on the hills is good, the beacon and north hill end are a good place to start. The club ride is at 6 on a wednesday if you come along to that you will get a guided tour of the best tracks. It starts from the clock tower car park which is just off the west malvern road 200m past Back on Brack, which is an mtb bike shop owned by Paul Burley.
