*he leaps out of reach of the attcking wolf, and runs to Snowlfake's protection. He rushes at the wolf attacking her and tears at his skin mercylessly*
Snowlflake! Get away from here! NOW!!

*he continues to thrash the attackers. But two against one is unfair. He does his best to fight the wolves off, and kills one of them. In a last attempt to save himself, he leaps at the wolf and lowers his head and bites down on it's paw with crushing force. Then he smashes the other paw, shattering every bone. The wolf tries to stand, but is unable to use his frot legs.

*Apollo, tired and weary and winded, falls to the ground in a heap. He breathes, but his wind comes in short staggering breaths. He crawls on his belly to lay under a tree's shade, whining pitifully. He lays still with his eyes open, laying full out. Blood covers the ground around him, and he left a trail from crawling to his cover. He waits for Snowflake*

At least he got Snowflake away in time.
