He has raised the pups alone, and has not knowm where Snowflake was. Yet he decides not to show his anger outright, and clicks his ears back up. He nuzzles her and lickss her, happy she is back. He howls low to the pups

*Snowstorm obeys immedietley, and runs to her father. She runs straight to Snowflake. She, being the youngest remember her mother vividly. She barks and licks and whines eagerly.She whines submissively, and waits for instruction. SnowStar trots up quicly and stands near her father. She takes time in sniffing the female's scent, and wonders at her father's bliss. She licks her father's face, and is encouraged. She recognizes Snowflake's scent and licks her cheek. Blizzard approaches silently. He stands behind his father, cautious. Being small of stature and of wiry build, he goes unnoticed. After a time, he comes from behind his father, and whines at the female wolf. He knows no other way of showing affection, so he stays where he is.

*Sirus takes his time in joining his family. He raoms about for a while, stalling at the stream and sniffing a fox hole. FInally, he joins his father's side and simply looks at the female wolf. He has no recolllection of her, but her scent intrigues him. He sees that she is a good friend of his father's, so he merely tolerates her. For in his breed there is no memory for mothers after a year. He sees this wolf as a stranger. He acknoledges her presence with a quick click of his ears, then looks away. Impatient, he he turns and walks off to investigate his fox hole.*
