I'm not too pleased with that beta deal either, but you're right, whining does nothing. And blink, whoever you are, if you're pissed about people getting new characters put in there, listen to this. We used to have it so people had to work to get new characters in. But then, as they flew up the ranks, they would knock people off, and those people would be pissed because it's like having a US mare break all the ranks up. I'll wait till you hold alpha, whoever you are, and then introduce a new USTH character and knock you from alpha to the bottom of the unranked TH- is that what you want? Sorry if you don't think it's fair, but personally, I would rather have it that US people get new characters. If you don't like it, leave, we've got plenty of others ready to take your place. :)
