Just had a lovely night out in Shinjuku's liquid room.
Some Techno was had.
Fumia Tanaka rocked it as ever. Wonderful DJ that fella. Finished up with CC's Good Life mix which I aint heard before. Grinning like a dead frog I was (they do you know......)
Ricardo Villalobos was pretty suberb in the middle. Interesting rhythms and alot more tunes than I had expected. Even got all Discoy at one point. I booggied. Realy tall fella he is, by the way.
Other act was a guy called Architype from Ohio who played live. Interesting music, very minimal and technical. NIce headspace but gnerelally didn't get the crowd going and it sagged a wee bit until Tanaka stormed back with his second outing.
Place full of lots of top people. Very friendly vibe. Even got a Smashing pill, although it should have been at that price (still, can't expect anything else in Tokyo)

Then got home and found the wife had left me out breakfast (she dont do techno) What a sweety!

See that they are having a Skam night there later in the month which would be lush...... Although I won't be able to make it.

Oh one other thing, back rooms there have interesting Grafffiti from basically anyone whos been making music in the last twenty years (well maybe not but alot...) Oasis, Charletons, Weatherall, Bukem, Coldcut.. Shit cant think of em all now but interesting reading whilst spangled and eatin' cheese cake.
