Nay, I ain't thinkin' o' fightin' anytime soon. Not 'round 'ere anyhow. Airs full o' wierd an' nameless thin's. Anyhow, there ain't nobeast 'sides me to take care o' Chaucer, since Graft killed me mate anyhow. Ter be point blank, I know ye gots a chil' o' your own, an' there was a number o' times i coulda tol' Graft, but I dinnae, an' ye shoul' be greatful far as that fetches. I know what 's like losin' a mate, almost los' me chil' too due ter the fact lil 'uns can only drin' milk and there was barely any item of such in that ole horde o' ours. I thin' those days are done fer anyhow, an' i'm turnin' o'er a new leaf so long as I'm livin' in these walls. Far as i'm concerned, dey coulda killed Chaucer, but they dinnae, an' so i'm loyal, and methinks they dun put up wid trubble 'ere. So I'm holdin' nothin' 'gainst yew an' yer family from now on. I hope ye'd like ter think likewise.
