Description: Dusk is 5'9 and 160 pounds - She is slim, though she was very stocky as a child, almost fat. She shows muscle tone after prolonged workouts. She also has long legs for running and riding both dragons and runners. Dusk has a mixture of black and brown hairs, but hers is more mahogany. She keeps it a bit past shoulder-length, and likes to braid it in intricate patterns. She has dark golden brown eyes. They are large against her pale brown skin. Dusk has a short, blunt nose, large eyes, and well-defined cheekbones. She tans more than her parents, but is not quite as dark as her brother. She and her brother have been called the 'twins' for they look so much alike. She also has high cheekbones and a dimple on her right cheek. Shehas a light voice that is difficult to hear from distances. It is very sweet sounding, and her singing is always quite lovely. She is never without weapons, for most older runner riders like to try and steal her marks. People are amazed when they find out Dusk is a 'girly-girl' when it comes to clothes. Pretty dresses, ribbons in her hair and sandals are her daywear, but she does wear trousers or breeches during the races. Her favorite Gather dress is the one her mother made for her, a pale gray with purple dragons embroidered on the hems.

Dusk is a thinker, preferring to wow people with carefully thought-out explanations. She is very intelligent, but it is her cleverness that most people remember about her. She can keep a cool head in even the scariest situations, like the time her foot got caught in a stirrup and she almost was dragged by her runner. She also likes to sing with her brother, taught by the Hold harpers, though he always seems to be downing her out. Dusk enjoys being athletic, but she decided runners were more her style. She won many races with runners at Gathers, for she was light and very good with the beasts. Dusk is a mark-making genius. She is also a good leader as well. She was in charge of organizing the bets and creating race times along with the runners' owners. She adores her firelizards totally, and alwaysmakes sure he is comfortable before she is. She has one problem and that is her dual personality - on the outside she is confident and bubbly, but inside she always wonders if people are laughing at her. This leads her to be a bit short tempered, even toward her friends and brother.
