Personality-wise, she's got a "been there-done that" aura clinging to her despite her young age. She's pessimistic, and often fearful, because as a child she was beaten by her alcoholic parents and teased brutally by her peers, not because of her appearance or the fact that her family was poor, but just because something about her was different. She's very kind and sweet underneath the hard, cynical front that naturally presents itself to who first meet her.
