Thanks so much for your thoughtfull answers to my questions regarding this group. I will avoid discussing religion with them and I will keep talk to a minimum. I thought there was something wrong with me! I thought that maybe I did not understand the Korean culture well enough.
Well... I must go back to work, but you guys have given me some food for thought.

Buy the way I have asked my coworkers and none of them were asked to go to this church, I wonder why they asked me?

I also had an encounter with them back in the 1980's at North Eastern Ill. University were I was accosted by a gentleman called Daniel. He took me to an apartment about a block from school and tried to indoctrinate me. Of course nothing ever came of it, but if it was a good looking Korean woman I might have been suckered in more.

I did not not know until now that that person was from UBF.
He seemed nice but lost in his faith.

I would like to see groups like this eradicated, but you are right they will always be around in some form or another.
