Easy to read, insightful article published by BBC News on May 4, 2004.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/3682773.stm

It has also been catalogued by Rick Ross at

http://www.rickross.com/reference/brainwashing/brainwashing41.html

Try to read thru the article, notably section quoting Professor E Mark Stern of Iona Collage in New York, author of The Other Side of the Couch. Dr. Stern differentiates between good mind control and bad mind control, cults are using bad mind control. It can be summarized as coercing a person to do things that are harmful to themselves, such as quitting job, marrying an untrustworthy person, giving large amounts of money to untrustworthy people, renouncing friends and family, controlling a person's very life and future.

Notice the lame response by Mr. Introvigne, trying to dismiss the self evident phenomena of mind control by saying the supporters ignore 'free will'. Mr. Introvigne is lying, IMHO.

God bless you all, Happy Memorial Day.
