Dear Andrew,

It sounds like what Mike may be trying to say is that if you go along with enough of the ubf program, then you are still welcome there.

You have to be willing to meet once a week with your recruiter, write your sogam, come on Sunday, give money, and attend conferences and some meetings. It sounds like you were willing to do those things, and those activities were semi-fulfilling the ubf expectations on you.

The next step would be to get you to 'flip' over to their style of thinking in your mind. You may have been alot closer to flipping to their style of thinking then you realize. This is the hardest stage for the ubf to get you thru, but as you have seen with Mr. Stumpf, the ubf does succeed sometimes.

Anyway, we are very glad that you did not 'flip'. God bless.

And IMHO (in my humble opinion) the Stumpf marriage looks like one where they will control the family thru the man, not the woman. Jennifer, you don't have any idea what they have planned for you. You would be wise to quit the ubf right away. It will not be a happy and healthy Christian marriage. The ubf marriages never are.
