Subject: The problem with "They do God's work" argument

I was considering the fact that a typical line of the UBF defense is:

"But do you deny that God used (or:uses) them greatly? So, why do you attack God's work?"

This is a simple misunderstanding.
The underlying concept is:
"They are doing God's Work, which means, they are approved of God, so their sinful nature is covered by God."

However, the reality is this:
"Even THOUGH they are sinful, God uses them, but this does not constitute that God approves their sinful nature.
Much rather, their sinful nature is put to a test much stronger the more God wants to use these people.
Even if they were used by the Lord, they can STILL fail the test, we can not use the fact that God used us in the past to suggest that we have passed every test of God and are approved, we should rather be afraid that God has His eye on us and will test us every day."

Just a thought,
In Christ,
Mike K.
