Subject: you don't understand the point here

I think the point for some is that UBF has become its own little denomination, with its own inflexible customs, traditions and such. I think people were more comparing their experiences and making observations about these common traits in UBF chapters rather than just criticizing UBF. Chris' point of criticism was that Kaleb Hong lied about yet another thing when he claimed that his chapter was "independent."

Another valid point made was that though attempts might be made to make the START OF UBF worship more contemporary, the rest of the worship is just plain snore-inducing, messages are still the same stunted based-on-Lee's teaching garbage, the "presider" tries to show "much spirit" as he announces what's next, and the messenger basically just reads the manuscript with maybe a few "motions" thrown in. Maybe the young are to be commended for trying to introduce a contemporary START to the worship, but what does it say about the elders and leaders who run the REMAINDER of the worship? But all this is moot anyway (so I guess I agree with you there); it's what UBF teaches in the "worship" messages that is the most troubling.

PECAS' point is also valid, probably in your own unnamed chapter despite your claim to the contrary; almost everything in UBF is some kind of "training," therefore, nothing is pure, not even the "privilege" to perform music on Sunday.

>anything bad about it? i doubt it...
