I'm not sure about that last part. Maybe it's the differences in the UBF chapters we were in, mine being horrible and yours being a notch worse. UBF Koreans will speak well of people like Billy Graham and Yong-Gi Cho and even the Pope, maybe even consider them Christian heroes. But their language often demeans non-UBF Christians, language like "old Christian," "cultural Christian." I think your characterization of UBF's attitude toward mainstream denominations is pretty close to a general truth. Relations with other churches and Christian groups in any nation but Korea are close to zero though they will happily try to steal members of other churches and Christian groups. The recent relationship with the Christian Friends of Korea relief organization was forged by--guess what?--money.
