to uncover what the Bible means by YOURSELF, and with a guide.

You capitalized the wrong word. To reflect the reality in UBF, you should have written: "to uncover what the Bible means by yourself, but with a GUIDE." In UBF, I was not allowed to read the Bible by myself only. I was forced to have Bible study every week with a UBF "guide." This is mandatory in UBF. If you do not take part in the weekly Bible study with your "guide", you will be soon kicked out. The problem is that your UBF guide has no proper theological and Biblical eduction but instead indoctrinates you with UBF ideology and group think.

Catholicism, which its doctrine is that the Church has all authority, and the Bible is good, but the word of the church should be more revered. And also that Bible reading should only be done in the presence of a Priest.

Actually, this is the same as in UBF. The word of your shepherds and leaders have to be more revered than your own understanding of the Bible. By the way, your picture of the Catholic church is wrong. Today, Catholic Christians are allowed and encouraged to read the Bibel alone and in groups, without the presence of a Priest. Contrary to UBF, they are not forced to have Bible study with a priest every week. Just to be fair, not wanting to defend Cartholicism.
