From another angle, Christianity is supposed to be a benevolent authoritarian monarchy. But the UBF system tragically allows human leaders to usurp the place of the One who should be the monarch. And the excuse given is that by absolutely obeying these human leaders who take the place of Christ, we will be "trained" to be absolutely obedient to Christ. This is justified by the sloppy misapplication of verses like Hebrews 5:7,8 and Matthew
28:18-20.
