Brain Karcher slightly altered his website in response to direct from NAE and Kyle Fisk. It now reads:

17. What do you know about UBF's membership in the NAE?

UBF was a member of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) in good standing for nearly 10 years, since 1995. In 2003, the NAE received a petition against UBF's membership, containing serious allegations and compelling evidence. None of the allegations were proven to be true, but since no defense was given, UBF's membership was terminated in March, 2004. I have communicated directly with Mr. Kyle Fisk of the NAE.

As you can see, Brain is only attempting to put ubf into a positive light, and in doing so he has to slant the words, and more importantly, Brain K. leaves out crucial elements of the discussion (under-reporting the anti-ubf elements of the story).

And at the same time Brain K. overemphasizes
things that would buttress the ubf, even if they are fabricated statements. Brain K. over-reports the part that 'none of the allegations were proven true', when Joe already pointed out that the petition contained ZERO allegations but only facts such as reports in news outlets.

There really is no positive news for ubf getting expelled. NAE has over 50,000 member groups, and it rarely expels any of them. The ubf, with its long history of abuse and scandals and bad teachings, did not fit with the NAE. ubf never contributed anything to the NAE and its goals.

Brain is not engaging in any kind of informational reporting, it is slanted and biased reporting, and his storyline is very deceptive. The true story is that ubf is only the third group expelled from the NAE in the last ten years. Just consider the Brain K. site and comments as the successor of the late Daniel (don't know his real name) Hong. He may be at this for a very long time.

God bless.
