I was a "sheep" in Cincinnati UBF on and off 1989-1992. Individually, the majority of them are the nicest people I have ever met. Get them out of a UBF setting, or out of earshot of the powers-that-be, and I have had some of the most fascinating discussions (on theological and secular topics) that I have had in a long time. But come Sunday afternoon, it all changes.
