Subject: The masterful art of quotation
In reply to: Hannah 's message, "Re: Do Not Generalize" on 21:27:36 10/05/04 Tue

Not ALL UBF leaders share in vast wealth of wordly possessions. I mean, just reading all that is one big generalization.
Well, let me quote...
Please also do not deny that certain upper echolon UBF leaders share in a vast wealth of worldly possessions.
The word "certain" and the word "all" do not share much common ground.

You do realize that UBF has some corrupt leaders.
Now, my first question would be: what's being done about it?
And my second: Why are the chief abusers still in positions of power, why do those who have accumulated worldly possessions for themselves on the back of others not return them or offer them as a sacrifitce to God, finally?

And regarding "we shouldn't dig up the past", please refer to my other postings regarding this subject. I don't think it's necessary to repeat myself. Sin is sin no matter how old.

In Christ,
Mike K.
