Subject: SLee's high school and seminary study?
In reply to: Joey 's message, "SLee's doctorate?" on 15:28:20 06/24/04 Thu

The EE education saga may be a long series of lies and mysteries.

During long, boring announcements after meetings, EE mentioned several times that he did not even graduate from high school, claiming his step mother made him do all the household chores and provide support for the younger children. If this is true that EE did not finish high school, how could he enroll in or graduate from any accredited college? Remember, EE was supposedly a high school boy when he danced before the bullets during the Korean Civil War (see bogus history of ubf by Sara Bury). Actually, the story of EE's life is so dubious that we are told he was born and raised in Japan, but was high school boy in Korea. There is no explanation of why or how he was raised in Japan and then went to Korea.

EE mentioned that he got a GED to make up for his high school deficiency, like other things there is no reliable source to confirm the info. Was there such a thing as a GED in Korea in the 1950's? Is there any way to find out about GED in Korea?

And then EE also claimed he was a seminarian of the Presbyterians, though it is a real stretch to say that guy finished any reputable seminary study. And in the late 50's there really were not any reputable Christian seminaries in Korea. Recently I have been told that EE began working in the Presbyterian church in Korea by claiming that this father was a Presbyterian elder. That was the sum total of his qualifications, saying his father was a Prsbyterian elder.

The only fact I was able to independently verify is that Doug Cozart, who is held up as the one who 'discipled' EE, was willing to say that he had a correspondance Bible study course with many Korean church people back in the 1950's, EE included. (Mr. Cozart did not 'disciple" EE and knows virtually nothing about EE or the ubf, and Mr. Cozart is also against arranged marriage as taught by the ubf. Mr. Cozart was a real ordained missionary. Sara Bury was never ordained by the Presb. Mission, studied chemistry and education, is she really a missionary? EE is obviously not a missionary. ubfKoreans are obviously not missionaries.)

In the end, the bogus doctorate may be due to EE never finishing any level of study that he was required to finish. Who knows, he may never have graduated from grammar school. Anyway, the man tried to give the impression of being legitimate and on the up and up. It doesn't appear he ever was.
