Subject: No forgiveness?
In reply to: former 's message, "Another Strawman?" on 05:43:37 07/02/04 Fri

Please do not make me into something I am not. The truth is that I love many people in UBF and the many things I did in UBF. What I dislike is the fact that my ministry was hijacked by people who put people ahead of Christ, the Gospel, the Bible, and Jesus' sheep.

For what it is worth, I hereby forgive UBF people for their abuse and spiritual neglect of God's people and their failure to address same. Now, let's discuss the real issues!

I, for my part, am ready and willing to forgive them, yet unless they repent, I WILL NOT!
You can forgive them and just move on, leaving the stains of sins unrepented on that ministry, but I'd rather have them cleansed than whitewashed before they move on.

Like I said to someone else, if someone who sinned against me and others comes to me and says "I have sinned, please forgive me" then I'd welcome them with open arms.
BUT if they say "So, we're sinful so what? We do the Lord's work and that more than makes up for our failures" then I can and WILL reject these people, quoting Samuel 1:15

"you have forsaken the word of the Lord, so the Lord has forsaken you!"
And this is the Truth, the Lord doesn't do business with people who are too proud to repent of their sins!

And I am NOT willing to mingle with and be found to appreciate people for indulging in their sins.

In Christ,
Mike K.
