For me, it was around Spring 2000.
I attended a few weeks in a Bible college and the end result was seeing severe doctrinal discrepancies between the Bible and UBF which were not being addressed because UBF "had decided to go that way". And I rather wanted to go the Lord's way than submit to an ungodly way.
Other than that, I didn't have many grudges against UBF except that they were really spiritually abusive at (rare) times.
