Subject: How is Moon perceived in Korea?
In reply to: Gadfly 's message, "Sun Myung Moon Crowned the new Messiah in D.C." on 13:00:43 06/21/04 Mon

I am curious to know if anyone have encountered any Korean perceptions of Sun Myung Moon.

How is he perceived in Korea or in America by "1st generation" immigrant Koreans? Do they consider his group a dangerous cult, or do they view him with a certain ethnic pride because he is Korean and has seemingly become a "great success" at least in terms of business and influence and conquering many a "big-nose American", or is there a mixture of loathing and admiration for Moon?
