One thing I've realized about Barry post-UBF is that her knowledge and understanding of the Bible is quite limited. Her blatant misuse of Luke 19:13 is just one example. She doesn't know her Bible. Kind of a fatal flaw for the leader of a purported "Bible-based ministry", don't you think? Her answers to Amy are not based on scripture and, at worst, just plain unscriptural. She tries to appeal to people's emotions first, rather than holding up the Bible as the standard of truth.

>Sarah: Samuel Lee is accountable to God if he did such
>things. He doesn't need to confess to you or anyone.

That would be fine if Sam Lee had sinned only against God. But there were other injured parties involved, too, weren't there?

And I'm not so sure that Lee and Barry will not have to face those they have victimized one day:

"The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom, and now one greater than Solomon is here. The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah is here." (Luke 11:31-32 NIV)

Barry also just reiterates what she and Lee taught all along; they are not accountable to man at all. She, along with Lee, is the originator and prime defender of this false and dangerous teaching that has led UBF down to the depths.

And what about her Barry's personal involvement in the horrific abuses? It's funny how she tries to justify Sam Lee and at the same time tries to get herself off the hook by focusing on Sam Lee. What a piece of work.

>Sarah: Samuel Lee is (pointing upward) in heaven now.
>You can ask him about those things someday when you
>get there.

Almost nihilistic in her outlook, isn't she? She knows all that Sam Lee did, but he's "in heaven now," so nothing matters. "He got away with it. Ha, ha. And so will I."

>Sarah: How do you know things haven't changed in
>Chicago UBF?

Almost every word out of her mouth in this conversation--besides "Hello, how are you, how's the family..."--tells me that nothing essential has changed in Chicago UBF.
