Here is an anecdote from my post-UBF experience. The week after we had left UBF, my wife and I attended another church in Heidelberg. In the row behind us was a couple with whom we talked a little bit after the service. They asked us which church we had visited before, and when I said it was UBF, the wife said "yes, we know UBF, my husband suffered a lot there." It was a big confirmation for me that my step to leave UBF was the right one, since they were the first Christians outside of UBF we spoke to, and it showed us how widespread the harm of UBF is and that they are a disgrace everywhere. Their names were Bernie and Barbara. Bernie had been in the UBF in the USA somewhere. Barbara hasn't been in UBF, she is a German. Unfortunately, we didn't talk much because I though we would see them again but we never met them again, because they went to the USA. Maybe somebody remembers a Bernie in UBF America?
