UBF also likes the Bible passage before in Luke with Mary's words "May it be to me as you said" because it is the supposed answer of "spiritual" UBF women to everything that UBF leaders demand of them. It is also part of UBF's "christmas canon." Then they use this week's passage to show how mary was blessed because she "obeyed." They abuse it in a similar way as the story of Rebekkah in Genesis. Obey (inserted by UBF: your leaders) and you will be blessed.
Quote from Samuel Lee's message about the same passage: "One act of faith is better than bubbling 10,000 theological arguments." With other words: Simply obey your UBF leaders. You don't need to understand theology, you don't need to understand what they demand. Simply obey without thinking, and you will be blessed.
