I agree with the credit thing, sounds simple and easy to maintain. Also, I think that Shamans should be held back slightly when it comes to battle, perhaps a couple of more complicated protection spells to help with tactics? Anyways, here's my ideas for spells and their credits.
Fire starting: A small fire, large enough to put a medium sized cauldrom on and cook a healthily portioned meal. Uses up one credit.
Protection from illness: Just what the title says. Shamans would be able to put an immunity into their clan members resisting some of the more vile diseases. 5 credits.
Simple healing: Stuff like cuts and sores, not going to deep, but the type of thing that is inflicted in battle. Hurtful, but not threatening or debillitating. 2 credits.
Physical barrier: Something to put around a person or thing to protect them from any type of attack during battle, but still allow for easy movements from the fighter. 10 credits.
Serious healing: Anything deep, such as a killing stroke or extremely hurtful attack. (can heal it) 10 credits.
Well, that all of my ideas. Hope they come in handy. And Branwen, I would appreciate it if you would join my clan. I could use a Shaman. ^.^
