| Femme trots 'round anxiously. Lobes flicker. Thoughts run through sable pate faster then a galloping equine. What would she do if she wasn't picked? Find another? Silent whicker shakes ebon barrel. She would do...nothing? Sighs. Nares flare and femme trots to Fatal Suspence. Nuzzles mascu lightly then canters into an emerald forest. Tosses pate and whirls around. Canters to waterfall. Pauses, then ducks under. Crystalline liquid beats pelt and femme shakes pate. Glass droplets hit rock face with a small splash. Femme watches uninterestedly, then looks 'round. Whinnies as she finds what she is looking for. Walks into a small, dark cave. Daggers beating hollow on the reddish rocks. Whinnies and sound bounces off walls, and echo returning to haunt her numerous times. Tosses pate again and climbs deeper. Finds a small, periwinkle pool and gazes deeply in it. Leaps back as a large fish jumps out at her. Snorts and eyes roll warily. Whatever the creature was it showed no fear for her. Walks slowly up again and looks in the pool...The creature gazes back, glassy eyes sizes her up. Finally with a whip of his irredecent tail, the fish leaves. Femme cocks pate sightly at the odd appearence of the water mammal with no legs. Ventures carefully around the pool and deeper into the cave. Sees a small light ahead and reaches t'wards it. Suddenly femme's shoulder jerks back. Whinnies in fear and tries to rear. Finally leg snaps free and femme backs up carefully. Looks at the blood and a rocky hole. Walks slowly back to the pool then pauses. Gently steps in, blood turning the water rusty and murky. Kicks out slightly in pain as water reaches gash. Slowly emerges and Walks to the enterence of cave. Steps slowly out the side of the falls to avoid being pelted and steps onto the turf. Looks at and licks it slightly cut and trots slowly back to others, her whinny cutting the morning silence. |
