Tom Brokaw was in Wyoming, talking with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chuck Todd, as well as some other fellows who know Dick Cheney. Tom's doing an 'okay' job of hosting. It will take a little time to get used to him.

Well, the wall is going on as planned. I still can't believe the Repub majority, in 2005, voted to give Chertoff free reign to build that wall across from Mexico. Chertoff sure is taking advantage of that power by bypassing ALL property and environmental laws. When people look back at this time in American History, it will be known as "the White House that tried to become a monarchy", and blame will be mainly on the Republican party, for blindly allowing Bush to shred the US Constitution; invade a country that had NOTHING to do with September 11th; the approval of torturing terrorist suspects; the "executive priviledge" excuses so no one has to testify under subpoena; the selling out of the Justice Department; the influence of Big Business in the policies of our government; etc... I could go on and on, but you get my point. This White House has done more damage to change this country than at any other time in our history--including the Civil War. At least with the Civil War, after it was finished, our country slowly got back together to become one nation. With Bush, it's still Repubs and a few 'bad apple' Dems on one side, and the rest of us on the other side, with Bush and Cheney doing everything in their power to become King and Vice King. I hate what they've done to us. They are enemies of the US Constitution's balance of powers and they are traitors because they put money, power and greed above people.

Everyone have a Safe and Happy week...

Mercedes
