I know I'm a few days late, but I hope you had a nice day with family and friends. I never can understand why some people won't celebrate birthdays; to me it is wonderful that I am on this planet, and each year that passes brings more joy and blessings (a little sadness, too) and that there is a reason why we are all here at this place and time in history. But I think one of the saddest things is when people are getting more older, they go and get plastic surgery and start looking like they have 'cat eyes' and stretched-out skin on their face. Everyone knows that the older you are, the more that gravity is working against you, so you might as well sit back and smile. No one can stay young forever.

I wish that people who do not want to vote for Barack Obama would stop going around in circles, using all kinds of excuses why they won't vote for him, while being afraid to just say the Truth: that they won't vote for him because he's a black man.

All these ads McCain is endorsing are so idiotic that I can't believe he's spending money on them. Come on, man, who's going to believe that Barack Obama is like Britney Spears or Paris Hilton--a celebrity of the world who doesn't know anything, or that Barack is a 'flip flopper' because he is considering all sides of problems--like the offshore drilling for OIL. He didn't say he approved of it 100%, only that he would consider it.

Look at Bush--for the first 6 years he had the Republic majority in Congress do what ever he told them to do and anything Bush wanted, Bush got. I don't think Barack Obama thinks that when he becomes President that he can just do what ever the Democrats want, without even considering the other side of the aisle. He may even decide to do what the Repubs suggest, if their ideas are good for our country.

Now McCain, he'll be like another Bush. He'll do ONLY what the Repubs want, no matter how silly or dangerous. That's why McCain should not be president of ANY country.

(I'll try to post another message before I leave for SA. Right now, I'm going to listen to Vincent Bugliosi on C-SPAN 2 talk about the book he wrote: "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder".)

PS. I like the decision that US District Judge John Bates, who W. BUSH APPOINTED, has said that Miers and Bolton, and Rove HAVE to show up when they are subpoenaed by Congress--they CAN NOT ignore the subpoena. They MUST appear before Congress--then they can use the 'executive priviledge' excuse or plead the 5th Amendment; because NO ONE is above the law! :)
