I call is a toss-up. McCain threw a few good jabs at Obama and Obama threw a few good jabs at McCain.

What I did NOT like was the way McCain kept saying that Obama "doesn't understand" the way things are and that McCain tried to make Obama look like a fool on the economy and the foreign policies.

I think Obama did a good job, considering he has been in Congress for such a short time. He knew a lot of details on foreign policies, could pronounce difficult names and knew what he was talking about.

McCain, though, got me pissed off because he wouldn't even look at Obama. McCain was acting like Obama wasn't even there on stage with him. To me, this was very rude. McCain should at least have the guts to look at Obama from time to time. McCain appeared to be an old stubborn mule who was very uncomfortable and was smirking--a la George W.--too much.

Also, what's with McCain leading the charge to settle the bailout for Wall Street? All the sudden he's gone from being one of the biggest pro-deregulators to the 'champion' of regulators. Nope, McCain, you can't pull a stunt like that. We people are smarter than that!

Well, I wonder if Ms. Sarah is doing her homework and studying for the debate on Thursday evening. With the bits and pieces I've seen of her interview with Katie Couric and her short chats with the press in NYC, she seems to make the impression that she isn't doing any favors for McCain or herself. I especially was surprised that she would say that she agreed with Bush about the 'war on terror'(fight them there so we don't fight them here). I thought ANY agreement with Bush about anything was forbidden by McCain and his Republican party. I wonder if she is going to show up for the debate or if something 'may' happen--like she 'becomes' very ill; one of her children 'becomes' very ill; she 'misses' the plane to the debate; or some other kind of 'excuse'. I can just see Joe Biden coolly and calmly tripping her up on every subject talked about. She will show the American people that she is NOT ready to be a 'heartbeat' away from being our president!
