Like it or not, there HAVE been deaths committed by us through the CIA and at Gitmo because of torture. You don't have to believe me, but I have read too much info and realize that this is TRUE.

No matter what, I would not torture anyone, even if I knew a given situation was supposed to occur within minutes. I already explained that in an earlier post.

Well, why wasn't Osama bin Laden ever caught or even really brought up after the Invasion of Iraq? It seems he was conveniently swept under the rug so that we all would 'hold hands' and join together fighting this 'phantom' connection of Iraq and 9/11. I didn't fall for it then, and I won't fall for it now.

It IS Us vs. Them, because of what We did we have lots and lots and lots of New Enemies. I really believe if we had not tortured anyone, Al Quaida would have a LOT LESS members today that want to see our Western way of life destroyed and US DEAD.

Adios,

Mercedes

THOSE cases should be prosecuted. But they are not relevant to the situation I asked about. My question is not about what Bush did, didn't do, or should have done. It's about what WE SHOULD do, and not do.obitcheckerSun, May 03, 2009 1:56:42
