Today has been a bad day for me, what with going to my old church and getting dissed by a lot of old "friends" who don't like the idea that I am now married to my husband. Then I come home and read this stuff! Plus, I'm leaving in a little bit to go to San Antonio right after lunch, to a picnic in San Pedro Park (the second oldest park in the country), and I won't be back until this weekend.
Why is everyone wanting to leave this board? I mean, I love Dukie and I've enjoyed posting here. Of course, I rubbed some people the wrong way, and I've been the butt of a few jokes, but so what? Nowadays with all the Politically Correct police patrolling it's like this and HuffingtonPost.com are the only places where I can write what I want to--even wishing some people to go jump off this planet and go live on the Moon.
Now I come here today, and it's like, What Happened? What happened that is causing this board to vanish? I don't care about the little pictures, in fact some of them are cute and silly and I like them (especially of George W. the JOKER). So why are so many people just leaving to go to Teller's board.
Now, Teller, I know you and I have had some lively disagreements, but I don't know if I want to move to your board just yet.
Doris, I won't be able to check this board again until this weekend. Maybe Peggy or Barbara can figure out what is going on and can let us know if Dukie is leaving the VoyForums for real. Not until I know that for a fact will I permanently leave Dukie's board.
All I can say before I leave for the week is Everyone have a Safe and Happy week, and I hope to chat here at Dukie's board with everyone this weekend, or at least find out what is going to happen to my Dukie's board...
