really now, why do people get so worked up over a message board? though i like visiting here, it is not the most important thing in my life and i am sure peggy can appreciate that.

my friends and family have been supportive of me during recent rough times. i will not share them here because there is no reason to.

i don't see what the big deal is about jokes and pictures but others may find them offensive. i remember peggy having duke's garden buddies pop here so i thought that she was bringing them back. even if it is not her, i get a laugh out of many of the pictures.

i support obama but i also must tell you the political stuff is getting pretty dull right now. maybe it will pick up when the real election campaign is on.

i enjoy the posts by mercedes. if you were to ask who my favorite is, it is her. she always has nice words to say about me and sometimes they make me blush. she strikes me as a nice person.

i really don't know you other folks that well. i read posts by idlh and hillary supporter and david s. and teller and james m. and kathy and others who i may have forgotten but i don't really know any of you people, except as a name on this board and your messages.

i know why teller did what he did and i will not criticize him for that. what is wrong with people posting on two different boards? some of you are so bent out of shape over it. are you really that upset with him or that upset with this board?

to me it's a double-standard because there are lots of jokes on the celebrity obituary board, really silly things, and nobody even says boo. but if people see too much joking here, they scream bloody murder.

if a message board is the thing that worries you most in your life then consider yourself extremely lucky.

as for me, i just hope that everyone here stays healthy and that peggy does whatever she feels like regarding keeping this running. maybe she has other things on her mind and can't oversee things that much. is that a crime?

i've really looked hard to find what it is here that is upsetting some people so much and i have not been successful. yes a lot of things here are stupid but i don't see that as a big deal. there is very little personal attacks, except people attacking the troll, whoever that monster may be. I think there's a troll on the other board too but people seem forgiving. go figure.

i first came here because i was impressed with peggy's kindness toward animals. i have no regrets.

i also cannot get upset the way some of you others here get over things that happen here.

once gas comes back down to a buck and a half and my situation at home improves then maybe i'll have time to get upset about important things like what's wrong with this board.
