Let me state, however, that I am NOT the person posting pictures and silly jokes. That is someone else and I do not know that individual.

Teller was able to "out" me on his new board which he is monitoring very thoroughly. I apologized to him for my nasty comment here as "!". I was in a bad mood over a family matter that had nothing to do with him but I used him as a punching bag.

I am actually a McCain supporter. I got the password from Doris Laurie, who I know only through emails. She suggested this would be a good place for political discussion and that she liked the people here.

Doris and I are both AOL subscribers and most of our emails back and forth have been to complain about their service!

Though we have never met or even talked by phone, I know she is a warm human being. I hope that you will not blame her for giving me the password and will allow her to continue to post.

I told her a few weeks ago what I was doing here (the two names) and she did was not thrilled. However she did agree with me that intelligent discussion was a good thing and that ideas should be more important than who posts them.

She was concerned that if I was outed (or outed myself) that her posting privileges here would be revoked. I hope that the powers that be NOT do that to her. She is a sweet lady and if anyone is to blame it is me.

I am also keeping in mind that even after The Chronicler was "outed" as being "Scroll Patrol" he was permitted to continuing posting (as the former!) and people were forgiving.

My real name is Nathan B (I would prefer not to use my last name because it is uncommon and listed in the phone book). If I post here in the future -- assuming I don't lose that privilege -- it will be as Nathan B and it will reflect my ACTUAL views, which are pro-McCain.

Which gets me to the rationale for what I did:

Because of the anonymnity allowed I thought it might be fun to post both as a Clinton and an Obama supporter. It would also help McCain because as long as the Democrats fight, the better off he will be.

I saw my posts as Hillary supporter and IDLH (I don't like Hillary) as really playing the Devil's Advocate: expressing two opposite points of view and letting people (the REAL ones here) agree or disagree.

I did not see this as a bad thing, as in robbing a bank or treating children badly.

If you real all my posts as those two people, you will notice that I never flamed or attacked anybody. I was vigorous in my own dissenting views (occasionally answering myself, of course) but also courteous and respectful of others.

I don't see what I did as a terrible thing and if any of you disapprove, I hope that you will forgive and allow me to continue to post here and have a legitimate discussion.

Doris, by the way, has some lingering health issues. I have suggested on many occasions that she give up smoking but that keeps hitting a deaf ear. She got some news recently from her doctor which may make her take note of the seriousness of what she is doing. I hope for her sake it's not too late.

If any of you have any doubt that I am both Hillary supporter and IDLH, you can ask Teller. He will confirm it.

He did me a favor by outing me.

I was getting tired of being THOSE TWO PEOPLE and never being myself.
