Subject: It's so easy for Mr. No-Class Rich Dutrow, Jr. to blame the jockey for Big Brown's disaster. I think Kent Desormeaux did the right thing easing Big Brown up.

I don't believe it was Kent's fault. It was a scorching hot day and the horse did not like the track.

Dutrow to me is a first-class asshole (or horse's ass if you prefer) who past is as checkered as they come. He thinks he is God's gift to training horsing. Well, guess what. He is not!

Why doesn't he bring up the possibility that maybe, just maybe, Big Brown could not handle the distance?

Why doesn't he bring up the possibility that maybe an additional workout or two may have been in order?

Why doesn't he bring up the possibility that maybe the lack of a steroid may have hurt?

Why doesn't he bring up the possibility that maybe Big Brown is not the super horse that he thought?

The reasons are two-fold: (1) he is a schmuck and (2) it is so much easier to blame the jockey.

Rich Dutrow, Jr. can take his "foregone conclusion" prediction and shove it up his ass.

I hope that he is never again in a position to have a Triple Crown winner.

And that if and when we do see a triple crown winner in the future, it is owned and trained by people who truly deserve to have one.

I would all like to know why all the other jockeys allowed D'Tara to steal the race without making the slighest effort to challenge him. Has anybody heard of the word FIX? (NT)I agree about Mr. DutrowTue, June 10, 2008 3:17:56
