I refer to the selection of complete idiots from the scores of people who would have applied in the recruitment process for a position that was taken by one or possibly two cretins.

I did a little investigating into this story and learnt that the men only swimming Session was introduced, at the behest of the Muslim community, to the centre, just as a women only session had been timetabled at the behest of the Hasidic Jewish community over a year ago (http://hurryupharry.bloghouse.net/archives/2008/01/20/single_sex_swimming_religious_minorities_and_antidiscrimination.php).

Just as the women only session is not for the exclusive use of Jews, the men only session was not for the the exclusive use of Muslims but the three-brain-celled being whose hands the human resource department shook and gave a job found the turn of events a little too hard to follow. Of course no such exclusion would be legal for such a municipal building. It does not say whether the person who made the following comment that if there was 'sufficient demand' a whites only session could also be introduced was the same as the first but, if not, this person is clearly of the same ilk.

I might start a 'hiring a complete f#*king idiot award' and give the first award to GLL Human Resources.
