It appears that barring something unforseen, Barack Obama will get the nomination.
Although he was not personal choice, I admire him for what he accomplished. He earned it. I will support him.
I still admire Hillary but I must tell you, in all honesty, that I think her race has been run and she really needs to suggest to her supporters that they united behind Barack Obama.
No one is perfect and I think that Hillary made a huge tactical error by seizing upon the gas tax thing, which was really a non issue as I see it.
However it probably did not have an effect on North Carolina or Indiana. I think most people had made up their minds a while ago.
I was a little embarrassed watching Hillary speak last night as if she truly had won the evening. That will give more people fodder for saying "you can't trust Hillary."
I think she is a better person than she is being made out to be by many. It had to be a devastating comedown when she expected to be "coronated" this year so to speak and then was blindided by the emergence of Obama.
I am sure it hurt her very deeply.
To all of you who have flamed me in the past, please let's "bury the hatchet," okay?
I meant well and was only expressing my honest opinion.
My candidate did not win but I am willing now to move forward and do everything I can to help the Democrats get control of the White House. That is of paramount importance.
I have no regrets but now it is time to move onward.
