Looks like they are snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. McCain will be an undeserving Chief Executive but he will be a Chief Executive just the same. I cannot see either Hillary or Barack winning in a general election. Whichever candidate gets the Democratic nomination, you can bet the other candidates supports will stay home or (maybe worse) vote for the enemy.
