Listen, it's a jungle out there. Show business is a rough field. The negative comments about Simon are simply over the top.
He is HONEST. And he did NOT criticize David Archuleta for the song choice (which was the producer's choice), he actually said that David did it well but criticized the CHOICE, not the contestant. Perhaps he could have said it a little better, but big deal.
Randy and especially Paula make me sick.
SIMON is the reason that most people watch Idol. Face that fact, my friend.
If you want to bash the show, then bash one of the major weaknesses, which is forcing people to sing songs that they are not comfortable with, such as Neil Diamond week, Mariah Carey week, etc.
