Subject: Could someone please explain to me, why the Democratic party, supposedly the party of the people, have something called "Super delegates" who can thwart the will of the people & choose whomever they feel like? Subject Author Date The purpose of the Super Delegates is to correct erros made by the people, who don't have the proper experience to vote for people who deserve to do public service. Without Super Delegates we could wind up with the vastly unqualifited Obama. Thankfully the SDs will be the voice of reason.
