In reply to: Hillary supporter (and damned proud of it, God Bless America and the U.S. of A) 's message, "Hillary Clinton has a good chance of winning. She wins PA. Then the Super Delegates kick in. She will win by 150 to 200 delegates. I have it all figured out on my calculator." on Thu, March 06, 2008 11:22:24

Then it all comes down to Super Delegates, bless their everlovin' hearts.

How the SD's will be going has been studied by the punditocracy with the precision of cable news executives studying chicken entrails as a clue to what the public will watch.

The undecideds in the Super Delegation ranks are the key to victory, the pundits are telling us.

And while some pundits may think superdelgates are starry-eyed idealists who have been designated to follow the dictates of their constituents or their own conscience, every Super Delegate is basically a party expert. He or she knows what is best for the party and best for the country.

They will realize that Barack Obama, who is wet behind the ears, does not have the requirements to be President. Maybe in 8 years he would have the experience that Hillary already has.

So don't be surprised if you see a hundred or so Super Delegates having second thoughts about voting for Obama.

That's why Harold Ickes was able to say earlier in the week: "We're closing in on the nomination." And he is right.

After PA, it will still be a horse race. Obama (Secretariat) will be 31 lengths ahead of Hillary (whatever horse was second). And he will be kicking more dust in her face. You are right, Hillary Supporter!Fri, March 07, 2008 12:15:19
